I am going to explain a number of essential steps to run a business successfully on internet, all of them relate with strategies of marketing.
1. ORIGINALITY FROM THE VERY BEGINNING
We should NEVER offer our product in a standard way. You should attract attention from the start, despite being a product that is already available.
Therefore we must renew and innovate in our technical sales. There are many ways to be original and create a different business for selling a standard product. For example, think about “Coke”, that is a brand with over 100 years and is always renewing their sales techniques that makes it a world leader.
You should create profiles on social networking to promote products and services that can be offered. This guarantees the daily visit of hundreds of visits to your profile.
You may agree or not, but also Bill Gates had to admit: “The future of advertising is the Internet”.
Create a simple and clear website with interesting content that incites to purchase quickly and easily. Today time is money, and customer shows gratitude to buy without wasting time figuring out how a page works.
2. ALLOCATE PART OF THE BUDGET TO MARKETING TECHNIQUES
A common mistake is to think that marketing is an optional and not serves to increase our sales and less capture the attention of our products.
The truth… Marketing must be a short-term investment that HELPS TO PROMOTE OUR BUSINESS and provides the real picture: we want to satisfy the customers needs and not just look for an economic benefit.

However he managed to create a need in the customer that only their product was able to satisfy. All thanks to an admirable marketing policy and a strong investment in research and development.

There is no better advertisement than a satisfied customer. The power of the customer to advertise our product is much greater than any advertising campaign as this would tell all his surroundings, family, friends, co-workers …
In conclusion, it is important that the products and services provided are based in the best quality to be reflected in after sales. And don’t forget that we should always provide the best after-sales service.

This area of business is as important as selling the product, and it should shine alone. A good customer care guarantee more sales. The client is always concerned about problems and bugs of the product. Bill Gates says: “Your most unhappy customer are your gratest source of learning”.

For example, Amazon is a great platform for online sales offering thousands of products with hundreds of brands. We may think it’s impossibile to compete against this big giant. It’s not. Amazon can’t sell some special customized products because they won’t fit into their mass market strategy. Even a tiny slice of the world market can have a value of millions.
8. PROMOTIONS WITH EXPIRATION DATE AND DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE YEAR
Create the need to buy in a special period. This creates a sense of impulse to buy because the customer may think him won’t get that price anywhere, now or in the future. The key is to announce the promotion well, at an attractive price.
9. USE OF TECHNICAL SEO
This is a huge step. Use search engines and think hard about keywords to reach new customers. This technique helps you move up in front of your competitors. Work with professionals about this, don’t do it yourself. You may waste A LOT of time and get zero ROI.
10. MAINTAIN A CONSTANT FEEDBACK
Send emails to customers after they purchased a product, and try to get a feedback. Their opinions after having an experience with a specific item is the most important thing. It helps to improve our services and the future sales of our products.
